Friends of the JC Public Library
Annual meeting, 2016
Local Authors to Speak at Annual Meeting
Save the date - Thursday, June 9, 7 p.m., at Viking Sal Senior Center, 245 W. 5th, Junction City. The Friends of the Junction City Public Library is excited to present Danuta Pfeiffer, author of Chiseled and Kathleen Cremonesi, author of Love in the Elephant Tent. The event is free; and light refreshments will be provided. Come join us and meet these local, out-of-the-ordinary authors.
This poem says it all:
Come one and all to Viking Sal…
An eve you won’t forget!
Two local authors bare their lives…
Unusual? You bet!
They’ve penned two books;
I’ve read them both.
They made my life seem tame
And ‘though they both are “must reads”,
They just “ain’t” near the same.
These books could hit the best lists,
As only time will tell
So grab this chance to meet them
And bring some friends as well.
